Goa – The Food Trail

Haven’t we all dreamt of a trip to Goa? What’s the allure? Is it the sun-kissed beaches, uncharted landscapes, or the laid-back local lifestyle? Perhaps it’s these Goan charms. Or maybe, it’s something else on my list – Goa’s food culture.

As a coastal Indian, fish is our staple, a culinary love I can’t live without. Even though I savor vegetarian dishes, a few days without fish leaves me wanting. So, as a pescetarian, planning a Goa visit means hunting for places serving delightful fish, especially fish thalis.

Many aspire to visit Goa, and I’ve been lucky to have adventurous friends who readily join me. Amid the fun, my quest is to discover lesser-known food spots, avoiding overhyped ones, because popular doesn’t always mean good.

So, here’s my Goa Food Trail, mostly in North Goa, with future South explorations on the horizon. Let’s embark on this culinary adventure.
